Sharon Brennan, AGPCNP-BC, is a Board Certified Adult Geriatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner, with more than 45 years of hands-on experience in the medical community.
Early in her career, Sharon was a Head Nurse supervising 40 nurses, who staffed a Medical Floor at Advocate Christ Hospital. Thereafter, she continued her practice while raising a family, in various positions at the hospital.
Sharon worked with patients in ventilator units, with physicians in a gastrointestinal lab and eventually settled into a long career, treating heart failure patients. While continuing in her practice, she returned to finish her undergraduate and Masters degrees. Since then, she has gained recognition for her skills.
In addition to her nursing practice, Sharon has acted as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Illinois and trained Nurse Practitioner students. Additionally, she participated in significant clinical research trials involving heart failure patients.
